ORITAG is operated by the Oceanographic Research Institute (ORI). Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to ORI. Intellectual Property of content on ORITAG

Unless otherwise stated, ORI own the intellectual property (IP) rights to ORITAG and the information provided therein, all IP rights are reserved.

ORI shall own all IP developed by ORI staff in the normal course and scope of their duties, that has contributed to the content of ORITAG.

ORI will be guided by the provisions of the Intellectual Property Laws Amendment Act (Act No. 28 of 2013) when ORI, its members or collaborators generate IP for ORITAG from South African public funding.

ORITAG has taken great care to ensure that information presented on this website is accurate and up to date.
